Summer Camps
Get ready for four days of discovery, creativity, and hands-on STEM fun! Our 2026 Summer Camps will operate Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM at the BrainyBuilders STEM Hub, 63 Sarazen Drive, Suite 103 in Clayton, NC. Each week, campers will dive into exciting topics guided by expert instructors in a high-energy, collaborative environment. Students should bring their own lunch and a big dose of curiosity!

Pathways: Cohorts
Drones Pathways Cohort is a 6-month, curriculum-based program designed for students ages 8-11 who are ready to move beyond introductory drone flight. The cohort requires a monthly commitment; while allowing students to build skills progressively while maintaining flexibility for families.
Participants deepen their understanding of flight control, precision, and real-world flight challenges while following a structured curriculum that begins with block-based coding and intentionally progresses toward Python programming. Along the way, students develop problem-solving skills, confidence, and a strong foundation in aviation and drone technology—preparing them for advanced pathways and future STEM opportunities. Max 8 students. Meets twice a month. Pre-requisite: Completion of Discovery and Level-Up classes
Engineering: BrainyBots & MakersLab
BrainyBots
A playful LEGO engineering experience for ages 5–7. Young builders explore structures, movement, problem-solving, and the engineering design process as they build, test, improve, and share their creations.
Makers Lab
A hands-on engineering experience for ages 8–11. Students use everyday materials and creative challenges to design, build, test, and improve projects involving structures, motion, circuits, and invention.
Discovery: Drones & Robotics
Our Discovery classes are introductory STEM experiences designed for students ages 8–11 who are curious about drones and robotics. Through guided, hands-on activities, learners explore drone safety, flight controls, parts, and common aviation terms such as pitch, yaw, and throttle. In robotics, students investigate motors, sensors, movement, and beginner coding while completing engaging design and programming challenges. These classes help students build confidence, coordination, problem-solving skills, and foundational technical knowledge—preparing them for BrainyBuilders Level Up classes, Pathways Cohorts, and more advanced coding experiences.
ALL things STEM and Community Events
As your HUB for all things STEM, we’re dedicated to inspiring young minds and fostering a love for science technology, engineering, and math. As we grow, we’ll be expanding our offerings beyond these classes to include chess, adult tech workshops, local author spotlights, and local artist's pop-ups, and more!
